No need to answer that, I am!! But it works for me just ask my DW.....
Sooooooooooooo picked up this diamond in the rough at the end of May for a song with the intentions of just working on it slowly to get it whipped into shape for when we retire in a few years.................I can hardly type that with a straight face......
For those that know me I never do anything slowly, I get a "little" obsessed at times........
Yes we intended to use it but just weekends and maybe a vacation or two........But me being me that just doesn't work. What a couple of months it has been.
To Date:
Registered/titled/insured, Complete mechanical go through. I mean everything. We did all fluids, filters, grease, belts, hoses, air leaks (still chasing a few), replaced the lift pump, had the hydraulic cooler rebuilt, new shocks, new tires, TPMS system installed, Garmin 770 installed, cell phione holder/charger installed, new headlights, new windshield wiper blades, converted to LED's through out, got all coach systems working, fixed a cracked water manifold, got the TV's working, cleaned inside thoroughly, stocked her up, set up a complete set of tools etc.....
Just bought a jeep unlimited altitude edition toad, registered/title/insured, Blue Ox tow bar, wiring harness, all connections, safety cables, RVI3 braking system and currently building a diy protector.
The last piece of the puzzle (and the most anticipated for me) is she is currently in for a complete buffing, repaint of the front cap and some minor damage along the pass side where the previous owner caught a guard rail (very minor).
Cinderella is about to make her debut at the ball.
There are still a few things I have left to do but it's all minor at this point. I am going to put all new glass in her, need to get the wheels shined up and some other nit picky things.
Ok, so the crazy part.........I know, right? I have owned this coach just about two months. We have been able to grab a couple short trips between work being done. One overnight and one day trip. And now heading out in a little over a week on an 11 day just under 4000 mile trip..............is that crazy?I would prefer to have a few more test trips before going but this is the time we have to work with so.......................
