Am I the only one who hates double sinks?

I don't know about high end diesels but every (and I do mean every) MH we have looked at so far has the double sinks.

Am I the only one who hates that? I imagine so because I assume the double sinks have been requested over the years and that's why the manufacturer's put them in.

They just seem to make it more difficult to "throw" a dish into. I am not sure what the advantage is in the MH. I have it at my house but it is huge compared to a motorhome sink. I am still not a fan of it at my home but the size mitigates that somewhat

Most likely. Had a single sink once, remodelled house so we could have a double.

At home we ditched the double sink for one cavernous single sink. This works for us because we only use the sink for pots and pans and everything else goes in the dishwasher.

We don't have a dishwasher in the motorhome yet, so a double sink comes in handy to wash dishes old school style. One sink of wash water, one of rinse water. It is a tried and true approach, and it saves water (which is especially nice when boon docking.)

It's easy to divide a larger, single-basin sink by using a $3 dishpan, but impossible to soak or wash anything large in the double sink. I'll never have another one by choice.

We are looking to replace our counter top and the double sink is going out with the old top. Its just too small to to wash any larger dishes.

My wife would love to see a picture? Did you go with a larger single and more counter. These forums are starting to get labor intensive and costly

Could not get by without a double sink in the MH, but given my druthers I would have a larger sink on one side and smaller on the other.

I vote for the single sink in both home and rv.

Is the OP referring to the kitchen or bathroom set up? I like double sinks in both. Kitchen has the dish drainer on one side so it doesn't take up room on the space-short counter. We've got his/hers sinks in our S&B so I'd like the same in a coach.
