Ambassador 2001 Battery house

I have a HR Ambassador 2001 and have mistaken take the 2 x 6v batteries to replace them without drawing a diagram. So now I don't know exactly how to connect them. Could someone help me by sending a diagram of the house batteries or a picture. All the help would be very well appreciated.

Plus from one battery and minus(ground) from other to coach, then plus to minus between batteries. This gets 12 volts the coach needs.

Len, Thank you for your quick reply and info. The switch on/off for the 6v should be connected to the positive end, not to the middle one. Is it right?
Thanks, Ed
