American Coach

My wife and I are considering purchasing a 2018 American Coach Revolution.

Any comments about American Coach? I've done quite a bit of research. Haven't found anything catastrophic about the brand.

It's a 42' model with the 450hp Cummins and Allison Tranny.

I welcome all comments.

Thanks!!

They are beautiful and I haven’t seen much/anything bad about them.

We love ours. We have had some problems but they were good at fixing them and even found some of them. Service for us is not a problem as we do not full time and only live an hour from Decatur. Currently we have a few more items they need to fix that will get done at our appointment in Nov.

Not sure where in CA you live but do note they were putting in a factory service center near Las Vegas that may now be open.

Now a couple of the fixes were quite a bit work on their part. If you want details send me a private message and I will list things out. Do understand our coach was built in different plant than they now use for American Coach.

I have a 2006 Tradition 42R that we wouldn't trade for the world. It is on a Spartan chassis and I have 91k miles on it. Great customer service who are very knowledgeable and helpful when calling in with problems. We are trying to determine if we will keep ours for the long haul or try to upgrade to same model just a few years newer. Hope to spend more time in it in few years when I retire. Good luck with your new ride!

American Coach customer support is fabulous.

They treat me like an owner of a new Eagle, not my trusty 19 year old coach!

JMHO, but I highly recommend the American Coach product.
I am sure there are other opinions, but in my case I have no regrets whatsoever with my American Coach purchase!
We traded our mint 07 Revolution 40LE for a 2017 45' American Dream last spring.
Layout was perfect, love the ultra steer tag axle, full wall slide, res. fridge, all electric (no more propane), 600hp...I could go on and on.

Never had any major problems with Revolution, but the Dream is just that..a dream!
Had some of the expected "new coach" issues and they were quickly taken care of at the REV Center in Decatur with a smile. Great customer support there and knowledgeable techs. They even found and fixed a few issues that we didn't know about!
I travelled there from my home in Florida, but the 2000 mile round trip is worth the effort based on the results.

I wish you the best of luck , lots of good times and safe travels with whatever coach you decide to purchase!

2002 Eagle full timing the last 5 years. Customer service is tops. Our next coach will likely be a 2017 Dream. Saw one at a RV show in San Diego a few months ago. Very nice.

Thanks to you all. We'd really like the 45 foot dream with the bigger engine. But, we don't care for the floor plan. Plus, it's pushing our price point. Thing at all wrong with the Revolution.

I've had my '07 Tradition since March. We just finished a 2 month 5200 mile trip. We love our new to us coach.

We have a 2016 42T Revolution and like it. We gad some warranty work done this summer, spending almost 2 weeks in Decatur at REV's factory service center. Our techs were great as was our service manager (Ted). My only complaint is that the satellite dish (Winegard in-motion) only receives standard definition signals with DirecTV; high definition with Dish. Also the cable conections to the dish are uncovered and have failed. Pretty minor relative to the 4 televisions, washer and dryer, and dishwasher all work impeccably. Ditto the 10kw generator and Aqua-Hot system. Very pleased.

Thanks, we heard the same about the "in-motion". We plan on having out Wineguard Traveler moved from our current rig to the Rev. We never watch TV in motion and I'm a TV geek so I have to have my HD. :-) Thanks so much for the review.
