We've looked at these and in MHO the AC has:
About $90k more in MSRP (upscale coach)
50% more torque
12% more HP
Liberty chassis
Better cabinetry
Better fit and finish

Without going into all the specifics, the Revolution is several steps up on the Fleetwood heirarchy in fact I believe it is now being made on the American Coach line.

Would the Liberty chassis give the American model more exterior storage? The fleetwood only has 112cf.

The Rev is in the AC class of Fleetwood. The Expedition is below the Providence and Discovery in the FW line. You are comparing apples to oranges. The Rev has too many upgrades and differences to list.

Nothing wrong with either unit, just not comparing apples. There are significant differences between these two units in the guts. American has a very different factory support as well (at least that is my understanding).

To me the big question is how you will use the coach, your budget, and whether you can justify the real differences of the two compared to the costs differential.

I would also presume tire size is different, axles are definitely different. Good luck on your evaluation.

Are they made at the same factory? I was surprised there was two identical floor plans.

I don't know the answer, but if you called either Fleetwood or American Coach they will answer your questions. Floorplans are similar but it appears the Fleetwood has a standard rv refrigerator and the American has a residential refrigerator.

Other differences appear that the Fleetwood has a 3 burner cooktop, washer dryer combo, compared to a 2 burner cooktop, stackable washer and dryer are just a few that I see from the floor plans you attached.

I would also think the cabinet quality, appliance quality would also be different. You may be able to upgrade some of these items on the Fleetwood Expedition, but that would also affect the weight which may pose an issue for you.
