Another front tire blow out...

Today at mile marker 119 north on the Florida turnpike...we survived but the coach is totaled as well as,the toad. I'm still in shock. ..

Glad you are ok, that is what really matters, could you give some more specifics, like why is the coach totaled, did the blow out cause you to wreck?

Type of tire, age?

Yes, the whole passenger side, including the door was ripped open/off. We took out over 200 feet of guard rail, totally flattened. Over 3/4 tank off diesel spilled all over the highway, hazmat was on the scene. We were extremely lucky. Broke my toe, ribs very sore. Was our first trip in the"new" coach. We were heading home from the Everglades.

That is shocking. Coaches and toads can be replaced, people can't. Glad you guys are ok.

Wow. I am so sorry to hear what happened. Glad you are okay. I know you had troubles when you were leaving NJ. Do you know how the blow out happened? Did you hit something in the road, or did the tire just fail?

I honestly don't know, happened so fast. Everyone was so nice, sheriff's officers called a pet friendly hotel, Marriott, which waived their pet policy of 2 dog limit. Two sheriff's officers came back to Give us a ride ,with the 4 pups, to the hotel. Renting a u-haul to get what's left inside out and back home.

Wow, the 2 of you and 4 pups and everyone is safe. It's a blessing really. Things could have turned out much worse. You seem very level headed and your handling it great. There will be blue skys ahead. Safe travels home!
