Another HWH slide and jack problem

HWH leveling jacks and 4 slide hydraulic mechanism. On a trip and for last 4 months the system has been working flawlessly. A couple days ago one slide wouldn't come in. Pump was running but sounded like no pressure, the same sound when relief valve is open on a control valve. I extended the jacks, did a retract and the slide came in. That situation repeated itself earlier today when we changed parking sites and when I went to level, the jacks wouldn't extend. Same pump running but no pressure sound. I had started extending one slide, the problematic one earlier, and when the sound was wrong and it was slow stopped and tried to retract. It slid in an inch but is now out about 1 inch. Left front slide. Checked fluid, a bit low, added a quart, no change. Opened relief valve on control valves, cycled extend/retract switches, closed valves, no change. Checked all wiring, all OK. I tried the manual retract on the one slide and the 2 13/16ths nuts spin freely and don't provide any resistance to crank the slide in. I crawled under and nothing to see where that rod connects on the inboard side.

At this point we are going to head home and I'll work on it there or take it to be fixed. We've been on the road for 3 1/2 months and were planning to head back next week anyway. If anyone has any additional thoughts, I'm all ears. My tools are limited unfortunately. Looks like a 2 day, 550 mile drive back with no slide or leveling. Thanks in advance

when mine did the same thing as far as leveling. I was told it was probably the shuttle valve. I replaced that but it did not help. I found out the 50 PSI switch was bad. If this pressure switch does not make the jacks will not come down. My switch was screwed into the manifold on the pump pack.

I'm currently just north of Louisville KY and will be heading down I-65 to south east AL.

When a trying to either retract/extend the slides, the pump makes the same sound as when trying to extend the jacks. Pump suns but no movement. Have a bedroom slide now open about 1.5" so will try to close it tomorrow by opening the control valves for that slide and we'll give it a push. Fortunately it's a small slide.

that slide can be pushed in by hand. its not a level out, so there is no locking device on the rams.
bankston rv in huntsville al is a great service center. ive been there and watched them work. the hardest part is getting the part. most dealers do not stock many parts.
check the pressure out of the pump at the manifold. there is a u-tube on top of the manifold. one end goes into a 7/8 brass nut. this is the shuttle valve. the other end, with a 90 degree fitting is directly to the pump. if you, or the service center has a 5000 lb pressure gauge, it can be connected there to check pressure. it should be 3200 lbs, give or take 1000 lbs.
harbor freight sells the gauge for around 10 dollars. you can get the fittings needed to adapt the gauge to the manifold from grainger, or a parker hydraulic fitting store.
for a quick non accurate test, just open the valve for that room or jack. hit the extend button, if there is enough pressure, it will move the room. if theres no movement, its the pump itself. you will need a pump/tank assembly.
i believe the part number is RAP90316. you will need to verify this.
if you need further help, please call me at 1-602-549-3638. i may be able to help.

I called HWH this morning and tech support called me back pretty quick. I had one slide out a bit and couldn't get it in following the published procedures. After I told him what I had done, the indications and symptoms it had, he said that pointed to the shuttle valve. When I get home I'll pull it out and see if I can spot anything obvious. Otherwise, I purchased an extended service plan so a shop in town will get some work.
