Another Inverter/Charger/Question

Last month I purchase a 98 American Dream in fairly good sharp for the year. However the Heart Inverter/Charger is not working, so I start looking for a replacement. It would cost around 2,000. $ to replace it with a new Pure Sine Wave model. So here is my Question to those out there that understand how these things work. What would be the problem if I was to buy a 2000 watts Pure Sine Wave Invertor for 350. $ a good 60 amps fully automatic Battery charger for 250. $ and a Interface switching panel to tie every thing together with my 50 amps AC panel for around 500. $ Total cost of about 1,100 $ The plus here is that if down the road I have a problem with one of the unit, I just replace that unit, not the hold system.

As the dealer was explaining the issues he was having with mine I did a quick google and found a replacement for mine there
Amazon.com: Magnum MS2812 2800W Inverter 12V W/125A Pfc Charger: Car Electronics

A Magnum 2812 2800W Inverter Charger for just over $1500. Not cheap by any means but a lot less then the $2100 the dealer quoted me. Not sure if this is an option for you but hopefully it will help

Oh and if you are an amazon prime member you can have it overnight for about $4.00

Steve

Joe Moe,
Hi . I see you are in Canada. In the US we put the dollar sign in front of the numbers (e.g. $2000.00). I see you put it behind the numbers (e.g. 2000.$) Interesting.

The raison we put the dollar sign behind the amount is that we say: (2,000. dollars) not ( dollars 2,000. ) just a way of written speech.

The Amazon.com price for the MS2812 is very good, I had check with Don Rowe.com and they are asking $ 1,983. and here in Canada I'm looking at $ 2,100.

We just replaced a Xantrex 1500 watt modified inverter charger for a Xantrex 3000 watt pure sine wave inverter charger for about $1500 and the remote control panel came with it off of Amazon.
