ANOTHER Slide Out call for help

I have a 98 Gulfstream sunvoyager. The slide was working until 2 day ago. I retracted fine and that was it. No noise, grumbling, or anything. I checked all fuses, reset circuit brkrs on the inside. Even changed the switch. ZERO. If anyone knows of a hidden circuit breaker, fuse, or relay that I need to find, pls help me. Also, I assume there should be 12v coming to the pump. I have about .0146.

Thanks, Bob

BTW, it is a dewald hyd pump.

Is there power at the 12 volt buss? Either side of specific breaker/fuse? At the switch? Motor? Can you hook a battery directly to the motor to test it? Buy a tester and learn how to use it. 12 volt is pretty safe and straight forward.

Make sure the drivers seat is fully forward and it is setting the interlock switch mounted to the seat frame and wiring did not get pulled loose.

Mike,
There is no switch on the seat. In fact there are no wires at all.

Thanks, Bob

OK and I guess possible but unusual for Gulf Streams. What have you found for voltages in and out of the controller, to motor? Be sure not to use chassis frame as a ground; use conductors only. You could have + voltage but no ground.

I guess lucky me, one less switch to worry about. Anyway, I finally called Gulfstream today. I was looking in all the wrong places for the right things. I wound up to be a circuit breaker that looks like the following:
Notice the little push button on the top. That is the reset. I couldn't see it because a fat cable was covering it. Now that it is fixed ALMOST, when the slide either comes in or goes out, it keeps on running.

You said you changed the switch before you found the breaker did you change it back as it could be the wrong switch.

I tried a new switch PRIOR to finding the breaker because I thought that was the problem. Not so. Just reset the breaker. Now I believe I have a solenoid problem from all I have read. Will call Gulf stream again today to confirm that it is a solenoid going bad.

There is an exciter wire that activates your solenoid. disconnect the cable from solenoid to motor, then check voltage at the exciter with slide switch Off.

Turn switch ON and listen for the click of the solenoid closing. Turn switch OFF and see if there's another click of the solenoid opening. No click with power OFF is probably the solenoid.

Easy to remove, and easy to bench test.

Gotta send out an update. I honestly don't know what happened, but for some reason it fixed itself. Now the wife says she wants a smaller unit. I can't win.
Many thanks to all for your inputs.

Bob
