Another Thumbs Up for Thor Warranty

We have put a lot of miles on our new 2015 Thor Challenger 37TB. Lots of folks post about poor experiences but this is a great one.

On a huge 8500 mile trip with grandkids, we encountered a problem with leaking 12v water pump. And we had a serious problem with drivers window - somehow it cracked.

Thor warranty had me buy a replacement pump and are sending a reimbursement check. Also had me send a picture of the window. Did a complete replacement of the entire driver's side window set.

Also, had the infamous rattle in the dining room slide. It is annoying but doesn't affect the operation of the slide.

Any and all of the problems handled without wrangling and hassles. I worked with Tom Overton and Mike Rink at Thor Warranty - they are knowledgable and responsive. Jake Shell at Paul Sherry's is the best service manager we've met and we've dealt with a number of other service departments.

We are hopefully through the new owner blues and won't need to talk with these guys.

So thumbs up for Thor support.

US Army Retired - loving it in our Challenger 37TB.

I wasn't happy with the quantity of warranty issues on my Thor, but I was very pleased with how Thor and the Gulf Breeze CW handled them!

Here here, I agree. I am very pleased with my THOR Challenger 37ND, it had the floor plan that I really liked. The people at THOR and my original dealer have done me well with my warranty issues. If this is an entry level MH as some officiate to, I'd hate to see a better grade.

mikensallyt - again as I said in an earlier thread I don't think you'll find many of the gasser family calling the Challenger line "entry" level. Too funny. We like you made a choice to go with gassers. And I challenge (pun intended) anyone to find more options for the price. We absolutely had to have bunk beds. For 38' units with bunk beds and a bath and half with all the other great stuff cannot be found in a gasser at any price point. For a number of reasons (most of all of them are related to stuff that will go wrong and I am a really good fixer on gas stuff) we chose gas.

We travel about 7 months a year in our "entry" level coach - love it. And oh yeah - bought some moderately priced insulation with the spray glue. Re-insulated the engine cover - WOW.
