We use Inland Truck Parts and Service in Denton TX. Ryan is the service manager there. They do anything that has to do with the chassis or drive train. Regular PM stuff or full engine/trans over hauls. We have been very satisfied. Inland has locations all over the central US. Don't know about the others but we are very happy with this one. Knock wood!

Wow what a nightmare. So sorry you are dealing with such poor workmanship. I am sure that FL shops are independently owned and obviously not well policed. I use two different FL shops. The one I prefer is the shop at Gaffney SC. It may be worthwhile taking a trip there. They will do everything correctly. It's a great shop and I highly recommend them. The other one is in the Kalamazoo area. They own two different shops one in Grand Rapids MI and the one in Kzoo. I first bought my MH to GR to have service work done and the guy told me that I was crazy to leave it there. He said that they did not do well with MH and the likelihood that I would be happy was low. He called and made me a appointment in Kalamazoo and he was right. Same owners totally different shop. It is a Oasis dealer and have gone above and beyond my expectations.
Good luck with your disaster and hopefully it is resolved soon.

I will try them again when I feel like I MUST use FL for some service--because I have heard that he does good work. But I have no illusions that anything will happen quickly.
Something wrong there. I know that they are busy and scheduling is tight but I'll call two or 3 months ahead of when I need my scheduled maintenance. I ask for the service desk. Then I tell them I have an RV to be schedule (2 or 3 months down the road) and they tell me the dates they have open. I select a date and show up. Matt does not have a phone in the new shop he is in, yet. So getting a hold of him could be difficult.

I think some one fed you some wrong information.

I needed the hydraulic fluid changed in my Allegro Bus. Because of my warranty I wanted that done by a Freightliner Dealer. I know that I can have it done anywhere but they changed from Hydraulic Fluid to Motor Oil in my system and i wanted to make sure that someone did it that had access to that service memorandum

They changed to the oil and then i took it camping for a weekend. I looked at the Motor home as I was hooking up my power cord and noticed oil spots under the motor home. I checked the hydraulic reservoir and it was empty. I called freightliner and told them when i would be available to get it fixed. They said bring it any time. I filled the reservoir and then drove it back to Freightliner after my camping trip. The mechanic told me he found a loose connection. He said it was not one that he had messed with but figured he had hit it with his wrench while taking out the drain plug. When I went to pay the bill there was no arguement they said no charge. They offered to wash it for me since I had to come back a second time. The mechanic came to get it to drive it to the wash bay and we chatted for a minute. He said the service writer asked him about it and he told him that it was not something he took loose but it was not leaking when I brought it in and it was evidently when it left. About a week after that i got a call from the general manager. He had found out about me bringing it back a second time and wanted to make sure that everything was all right. I told him I had only driven it home and would know for sure when I took my next trip. He gave me his direct number and told me if I had any problems with it to call him and they would do whatever they needed to.

From the Mechanic that was truthful to the General Manager that called me to check on things i was impressed with that degree of service. I have not needed it worked on since but they will be my first choice in the future.

Where specifically did you take it? I want to put this in my contacts. Thanks!
