Antenna up switch and cut off fuse melted

Now the antenna up light stays on dim when key is on. Help. Thank you

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

The antenna position switch on our coach is a simple mercury switch mounted on the pole. When up it completes a circuit to turn on the dash light. I suppose the wiring could be shorted at any point.

Noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello!

As Joe alluded to, over 80% of all 12V issues are the result of a poor/missing ground. IMO, In your case a ground is poor, causing a backfeed to this light to make it glow dimly.
Now the location of the said poor/missing ground is the real treasure hunt.
