Any Guess

I found this item in a box of parts/pieces that came with my recently purchased 97 Country Coach. I have no idea what it is although I suspect it might be part of a torque reduction lug nut wrench but I could be totally wrong. The end without the gears has a socket head that is the same size as my lug nuts. Has anyone seen one of these?

My guess would be that it's part of a repaired slide mechanism.

that item has been talked about in the heavy coach forums for those that whose brain may say: Yes- you can change those 250 pound tires" but in reality- CoachNet is your friend.

I do not think that is a torque multiplier, Design is wrong

however .. there is a part on many vehicles where you need a wrench inside of a wrench to remove it,, (Shock absorber) and that looks like it might be the tool,, Do not know

OR, it might be PART of a torque multiplier,, Just not the entire device.

In fact,,, Im going to guess that is what it is.

I do not use one.. I have this little gun thing,, i snap the proper socket on the end, hook the air hose to the other end and pull the trigger. It hammers a bit then the nut comes off. (or on).
