Any Issues I Should Know About?

Hi all, the wife and I just picked up a 2005 Fleetwood Southwind 32V on the workhorse Chassis.

Everything seems pretty sound and in great shape, it only has 19k on it. I'm just seeing if there is anything I should be on the lookout for?

If the tires are original, at 9 years old they will need to be changed.

I have a friend with that same model. It's never given him any trouble. He's been very happy with it. Good luck and have fun. Another friend had a 1995 Southwind and had major water damage in the walls. The factory had it brought back and replaced both complete side walls at no charge.

Hi, and welcome! I would suggest your post be moved to the FW owners forum. Lots of Southwind owners there as well as others. You'll get detailed information for sure. You can also contact Fw customer relations. The will e mail you wiring and plumbing diagrams for download.

Welcome aboard the forum. Some of the earlier Workhorse chassis had a brake recall to replace calipers. W20 & W22 chassis were effected by this important fix.

Just to clarify, ALL of the W20 thru W22 chassis were recalled for new calipers. If the sixth position of the vin # is a "6", it was recalled. If that vin position is a "3" or a "5", it is a P32 chassis and not recalled.

To the OP: You need to determine which Workhorse chassis you have, and if it was recalled, you need to VERIFY the recall has been completed.

Welcome to iRV2.com where you'll also want to visit the Fleetwood owners forum and the Workhorse chassis forum.

Had a 2008 Fleetwood, it served us well. Coach was on a Ford Chassis.

Ditto on the Workhorse chassis, check for recalls on your unit. Note, Workhorse is out of business but parts should not be a problem.

CC..... Happy Rving!!
