Started in our 30's, now in our 40's. Parents have one too and have traveled to the same places together, and actually enjoy their company. They introduce us around to everyone. I know more about my neighbors when I'm camping then I do at my stick house.

Am still under 50 (for another 6 months and bought the MH so I could take my canine "kids" with me to see family without infringing on their households. I work full time and can get away only a few times a year, but absolutely love the idea of being able to take my home with me wherever I go.

Were 41 and 40. Kids are 18 and 13, we have been in our A for 6 months now upgrading from a C that we had for 6+ years.

Strangest reactions we get are at gas stations. Most people expect a celebrity or retired person to step out. We get some strange questions and looks, but they are all in good fun!

Yes, and another one "what are you gonna do, retire?"

Closing the gap...

Moved up to a Class A gasser from a camper-van in 1986 at 26. Wow did I get a lot of funny looks back then.....people kept waiting for the 'blue hairs' that I must be driving for to climb out of it
It has been nice to see that change over the years. A lot more younger campers, families too, with two legged kids to play with the four legged ones. We now enjoy our DP and all of the wonderful people we meet while traveling.

46 with a DP and loving it! So many people think or assume we are retired, yea right!
Started as a kid with the parrents in a 12 foot slide in, then purchased my first towable of my own in 95, upgraded several times to the A.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, dear younger folk for speaking up!!!

Now I have some compelling proof to show my wife that, at 57, she is, in fact, old enough to be doing this RV'ing thing.

She still thinks and often acts like a 20 something. Even attempts to introduce me, with my premature silver hair and beard, as her dad.

Safe travels all and Merry Christmas!

I am 46 and DW is 44. We just got a coach in August and have had it out 4 times. After years of tent camping, and this past summer being so hot when we were out, I said no more. Found a great deal on an older MH and fixed it up. All I can ask is why we didn't do it sooner. We will use this one for a few years. Then get a DP that we can part time in.
We have met people of all ages on our 4 trips so far. Enjoying it a lot and think we will continue to as well
