Any thoughts on dynamat for insulating the doghouse?

I'm thinking about using dynamat as a noise/heat reduction for my doghouse. Wondering if anyone has done this and has any thoughts on the effectiveness of it.

Thanks

I used it on my old MH, worked great. If you search under my name, think I even posted up where I found best pricing.

JC Whitney has some of that insulation. Use the spray and foil tape

IIRC I put the Daynamat down on the wood directly. Then once the Daynamat was down, used 3M spray adhesive and attached a thick mineral wool insulation over the top of the Daynamat. This cut down on the heat and noise by about 75%. Forgot where I bought the mineral wools stuff, it was about 1" thick as was specifically for heat but offered great noise buffer as well.

Good luck!

I used 1/2 eco-fiber padding, same as whats under auto carpets, bought at rugpad.com. Over top of dynomat works great. then high quality carpet over top of both, much quieter.

I think it was Dynomat that I used on my boat engine cover when the cheesy foam backed Mylar disintegrated. It was nice and quiet when installed and held up well.
