Area code for Ft Myers is 239 so the call is being routed somewhere else. Probably Tampa area

941 was the Fort Myers area code many years ago. 941 now serves the Sarasota area. I was in the neighborhood yesterday so I tried to drive by the physical address and, as one of the previous posters stated - it's located inside the gates of the exclusive Gulf Harbour gated community.

I vote scam. Those prices are literally too good to be true.

I also found a good deal on RV trader 2007 jayco Melbourne class B for 25k for sale by suncoast rv sales. I called on Saturday evening and left voicemail message. received a prompt phone call back on sunday morning from a man named Jim Jonas. I made an offer and he accepted and sent me a purchase agreement to my email. He obtained my credit card info for deposit with the balance to be transferred by wire transfer. I have since cancelled my credit card since I believe this to be a scam as well. Unable to find a website for the company. Glad I found this out in time, thanks to the posts on this forum.

It's a scam. I received an email from Jim Jonas yesterday. He wanted a deposit and would then have the motor home delivered.
I think they purposely set up these fake dealership ads on Friday morning. The dealership department at RV Trader is out until Monday.

I'm thinking scam too.

I did a bit of investigating and research on that phone number and from what I'm gathering, it's a Google number opened in India. That's what it appears to me to be.

Remember, just because a phone number has a particular area code, nowadays, it doesn't really indicate that the person/entity using that number is physically located in the geographical area that the area code is assigned.

You can open a Google Voice account anywhere in the world and choose any U.S. area code to have as your phone number.

Plus, look at how many people keep their cell phone numbers even when they move to a state on the opposite side of the country.

It's not like the old days (I'm an old guy ) before cell phones and internet technology where you knew for sure where a phone number was physically coming from.
