Anyone own a Bentley ClassA Diesel by Nexus?

I love the look of the Bentley and am thinking of purchasing, 1st timer. Rented a 39 ft. Fleetwood over the weekend, loved it but restricted as to where we could camp! If money were no object to you, would you custom build the Bentley? I love the windows in the kitchen area, open to outside, also the cedar closet, ceiling sconce and LED lighting. OR what would be an alternative in the 34 foot range...? All of the super luxury RVs seem to be huge! THANKS!!

I considered a Nexus, both diesel and gas Class A. Looked at them both, reviewed the price sheets, etc. My personal opinion (and this is what I told Nexus) was that I didn't think they were ready for prime-time yet. I think they are rushing their products to market before working out all the engineering and manufacturing bugs. And by the time you start adding up the options you will need, they no longer have a competitive price advantage over other manufacturers.

I did tour the plant while we were at the iRV2 Rally. They've got a good concept (i.e. only 1 or 2 floorplans, no tile) to keep down costs & they don't run the quantities through production at breakneck pace that gets the larger mfr's into QA trouble. I just wasn't impressed with the quality & the interior materials seems, well, cheap (i.e. switches for lights/controls). On a finished Ghost, there was wavy-ness in the exterior wall when looking down the length of the RV. I did see a Bentley coming off production that had updated switches - lighted/touch panel like higher end coaches have. They're just 6 years old, so if they can get & keep their foot in the door & upgrade some of the features (which will send up their prices though), they may be in it for the long haul. Time will tell.
