WOW! What a difference.
More than anything, I enjoy the added privacy tinting provides.

I just did the exact thing. Had limo tint put on all windows except the drivers front side window and the door window (lighter tint used there), also had a Limo Tint windshield strip across the top 24 inches deep. Major improvement on heat and the sun doesn't blind me from the sides anymore.

Ernest917........I like your solution using the shades.  Would you mind telling us what brand you installed. I am not wanting electric, just manual.
Also, did you do the blinds for your side windows?

I can't remember the brand but I'll ck tomorrow and let you know..... I'll attach a picture as well....
Haven't installed the blinds yet..... It's an expense I'm putting off for right now.... Rather have diesel... lol....

We have a Gulfstream and had the top half of the driver and passenger side windows tinted with the limo tint. What a difference it has made driving down the road. The heat coming in has stopped now, should have done it years ago. The side windows in the coach we thought about doing but changed out mind because going down the road at night would be to dark to see out. We are installing MCD light and dark shades, picking up today and will know how the shades help.

I have the Carefree Side-visor - manual version...
.... 
It is spring loaded so it retracts quickly.... I find it to be the perfect solution for the glare and heat coming in the big side windows....

I went to the baby section at Walmart and purchased a 2 pack of adjustable baby shades. They attach to the glass with 2 large suction cups, and retract with a push of a button. They only extend about 16" so you need two to cover the window. I believe the cost was about $8. Works great.

Ok, so for those who have tinted their driver's side and passenger side windows, how much was it? I just had my tint shop quote $399. This is the best shop in the area and I've used them extensively for over 20 years. However, that was definitely more than I was expecting.

Mine, which I had a local tint shop do, cost me $257.00. I guess I really didn't know what to expect cost wise but it was more than I had expected too. Both the driver's and passenger side measured about 44"x48" (see my earlier post w/pics). It took them just under 2 hours to do the job. I probably could have done the job but when I went to talk to them they had a vehicle in there that someone had previously tinting done and they were removing the old tint (purple color too) and having new installed. Sometimes I guess you get what you pay for.

Day MCD shades. Can still see out of them. Came standard in mine for all windows (as well as night MCD shades).

I just fixed all of my MCD shades. What at a pain in the butt to program, mine motors are yellow and Bill at MCD couldn't supply much info on them but I was able to eventually figure out how to program them into my new 14 channel remote.
