Aqua Hot vs. Oasis in 2008?

I'm appealing to the considerable wisdom on this forum...

Looking at two different high end 2008 coaches...was curious to see that the Newmar offered Oasis while the Country Coach features Aqua Hot.

Are there any differences between the units?

Thanks!

Mark

Check over here: RV Hydronic Heater Forum

There seems to be quite a bit of discussion on both brands.

I looked there and couldn't find anything. I do not intend to become a member, so this site is useless.

All you have to do is ask Roger Berke who runs that forum. It seems to me if I was going to own one or the other I would certainly want to join that forum. Roger is the geru of those units and always answers questions. Just my opnion.....

The registration is mostly to keep unauthorized people out. Nothing good can come of allowing folks from Iraq, Iran, Ukraine, Nigeria and China access.

I donít bite and know quite a lot about Aqua-Hot systems.

Sign up! Lots of information there.

Pigman1 I will second what Roger said. Unless you specifically ask for something more, the only thing you will ever receive from Roger's site is an email confirmation of your registration.

I lost heat in the the front of my coach this winter and without Roger's forum I wouln't have known where to begin to look. By doing some research in his forum I quickly determined that one of the circulation pumps had failed. Upon doing some quick diagnostics of the pump it just turned out to be a loose wire connection. From start to finish it took less than an hour to get the heat going again. Roger's forum is a great resource to all of us using Hydronic Heating.

In my 2008 Dutchstar, i have the Oasis system. I have been pleased with the performance. As with any unit, performing the recommended annual maintenance seems to be the key to having a system that performs as designed.
