You get up to get an early start to beat traffic, get to your next stop in time to set up in daylight, air up warm up and move on down the road.

Too many of us are just looking for negativity here. Fact is, we just can't always have it our way.

Make room/allowances for your follow camper. No one is perfect and not everyone does things the way you do. If everyone was the same, this would be a boring world.

I joined the camping community in the mid 70's because I found the people to be life loving, helpful, and always cheerful folks.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that found this to be the case, and joined in for many of the same reasons.

Seems like we are now trying to turn this wonderful tool (this forum) we have used to reach out to our fellow campers/RV'rs into a sounding board for constant complaining.

How does our wonderful cheerful lifestyle turn around this way? We are not getting any younger, and bitterness is not helping us enjoy what we had planned to be our golden years.

I know this is way off track from the original posting, but I feel it just had to be said.
Wishing all of you the best.

We found out later it is a major job to reverse the exhaust so we try to idle out and stay clear as possible of other boaters.

Idling wise we will usually try to find somewhere on the way out like a parking lot or the side of the road to connect the toad. We do have to let the air bags air up before moving at all though.

Yea back in the day living on the lake had quit a few load boats a few jet and a bad flat bottom V drive all with headers. I had someone not so smart complain and learned his lesson not to get behind a jet boat.

Geez now I have an urge to get a boat. Great site seeing tool.

Back to the topic, there are some that are clueless and don't think about others, and then there are some who are too touchy and take exception to everything. Who are they thinking about?

I just received an alert from Captain Obvious!

Your contrite response and demographic indicate that you sir, are very likely precisely who many are complaining about!

I can't help but continuing to scroll back to that overloaded boat picture!! The potential danger is astonishing.
