Are these Hub Cap?
Hello, trying to put air in my Dual wheels and I am able to get the air in the inside tires of the dual because they have an extionsion on them. But I am having trouble using my tire pressure gauge and inflation nozzels due to these I think are hub caps. If they are how do you remove them? I have tried a small claw hammer to try and pry them off but they are not budging. I don't want to tear them up, they do look nice.
I took these photo's hope they attach.

Usually two of the lug nut covers on the " hub cap " have dimples on them. Remove those two and the cover comes off.

Probably has the wheel liners that use two or three of the thin nuts to hold them on.
OP: look at the chrome lug nut covers, there should be two that have dimples in them. They are removable covers over nuts that hold the wheel liners on. Remove those nuts and the liners fall off.

The two artificial lug nuts have to be removed. They will be opposite each other. You can take a rubber hammer and gently tap on them untill you find them. Remove both and you will have two lug nuts that you remove and the cap will come off. Some artificial lugs have dimples and some don't. They make a tool to remove them which most tire stores have. Hope this is some help.

okay, I found the answer to my questions
Yes, i do not post much therefore I had trouble uploading photo's. I found info in my RV lititure on how to remove the hub caps and was able to inflate my tires. They were originally 40psi and I was able to bring all the tires up to 85 psi the max psi for my tires. I know some people posted I need to weigh each tire on the scale for what I don't know but the max psi is on the tires and that is what I put in them. I also looked at the date it was getting dark and I will look at that tommorrow.

If they were run for anytime with only 40 PSI in them you might want to look them over really good. That's pretty low.

Here's a pic of my hub caps removed, you can see each one has two 'real' lug nuts. I had them off last year to polish them up when I put new tires on......

If you do not want to weigh the unit, I suggest you go with the pressures on the sticker in the coach, not the max on the tires. The sticker pressures are for your particular vehicle.

I looked for a sticker in the coach and did not find one that had tire pressures. I found the one with the max weight of the rv and stuff.
Anyway, heading out some place south on I-71 to I-65 tommorrow early am. I will look around again.
Yes those in the picture are what I have on my coach that licolnboy posted.

If you search 90 degree, or outer valve stem extenders, for around $10. a pair you can screw them on and make it much easier to reach with your pressure gauge and inflator. Truck stops always have them also but at higher cost.
