Auto Park Brake questions for 97 Pace Arrow

Hello, My answers may very well be posted all ready but darn if I can find them!! I am concerned about my auto Park on a 97 Fleetwood Pace Arrow (p30 chassis) I had trouble recently getting it to release. Now it seems to release yet the auto park light does not go off. How do I know if the autoPark is actually disengaged?
Should I be able to move if not disengaged. (or partially only)?
I did the basic trouble shooting. checked the switch on the parking brake release, that appears fine. checked the fluid level. The reservoir if full to about a half inch or do from the top. l wish it had a dip stick but doesn't so not certain just how full it should be?

You can find many, many threads about your J71 AAPB over in the Workhorse/Chevy chassis forum. But the answer will be :
send an email to Roger at: oldusedbear11@charter.net He is the resident EXPERT on all things with that system and his advice is free to all who inquire by email.

From what I understand about the infamous auto park set up, if it was engaged you would be going nowhere fast. Hopefully it is just a bad fuse or sensor.
