Looking at a class a monaco, it has on board tire inflater. Has extension air valves that are attached to the motor home fender wells nd I think the air compressor then attached to the valve stems, to maintain air pressure. Does anyone have any information about this type device, it looks like it could be problematic. ANY INFO WILL BE APPRECIATED. thanks!

I've only ever seen one of these systems in use and it was a Meritor brand system:

EDIT: Just did a google search and it appears there are several brands, more aligned with the trucking industry, but some did mention drive and steering axle installations as well.

Been used in the logging industry for years. They use it for tractor trailers going from pavement to offroad and back to pavement daily. Can't really see a advantage or need on a rv. Seems like a gimmick more than anything.

We see them on Buses in Mexico! I believe that they are installed so that the Vehicles can be driven on pavement as well as Dirt or sandy roads! There must be an on board adjustment control .

Second, for logging and hard core off roaders.
Never heard of it coming on a motorhome.

This is a option on H1 Hummers and HUMVEE (military) called CTIS aka central tire inflation system. Again for pavement to offroad traction pressure changes on the fly.

I have seen them on buses in Mexico. The system is called Geoset, pronounced " geo say"

At one time, there was a guy selling the setup at the FMCA Indio rally but I haven't seen him in a couple of years.

It is a complicated system of hoses and valves but it is really a neat idea.
