Aux battery location

I have an '86 Elandan and have not found where the aux batteries are located..they are working but want to know where they are.
Is there someone that can tell me where they are located? I have looked everywhere I can on this RV but haven't found them yet..the owners manual is skimpy and doesn't tell me where they are either.
Thanks for the help,

They are either under the steps, in a cargo bay or the engine compartment. Batteries are never inside the MH.
Most RV batteries live a long and useful life, some are murdered.
