Aux power cig lighter

I have a 2001 Rexhall the cig lighter was working but has now quit. I have not been able to find the fuse for it. I checked the fuse panel under dash. Any ideas? Thx

see if you can trace the wire to see if it has an inline fuse . Have you indeed checked it for power to be sure the element is not just burned out ?

Check the Battery Control Center. It is a black plastic box with removable snap on cover. It may be mounted on the fire wall on gas coaches and further back compartments on diesel coaches. Good luck and keep us posted.

I would check with a voltage meter first to see if you have power. If not look for an inline fuse. You may have to remove the top dash to get at it; typically a few screws and the it come loose.

Mine is in the coach power section, under the "hood" - separate from the chassis fuse system.

On my workhorse custom chassis.. I think it might be a circuit breaker.

Check those too.. That said they should reset themselves. (mine do when power removed) if power is not removed they get hot and stay hot, Noticably hot (not dangerously but you can feel the difference)
