Auxiliary pump

I have a 07 Beaver contessa. Just recently, the auxiliary pump quit working. There is power going to it , but it won't turn on.
Any suggestions?

Sorry to be so inept ...it's getting worse as I am now a forgetful and confused old geezer.

What is the auxiliary pump for? ...are you referring to the auxiliary air compressor for the leveling system or a supplemental pump in a system somewhere else? ...like a water pump for instance.

It's the auxiliary air compressor for the leveling system.

Ah, okay, thanks.

I'm not an expert at leveling systems so I'll defer to others to help you further.

While you're waiting for others to respond, there was a thread in the Monaco Owner's Forum last year and they discussed replacing the solenoid (a $20 part) that is prone to failure so that may be something to check. You can check that thread below:

Replacing HWH auxilary air pump

that pump is controlled by a pressure switch. You should be able to see the switch fairly close to the pump (it will have 2 wires on it). Try jumping the terminals on that switch and see if the pump comes on. Those switches do go bad occasionally and/or maybe the pump is shot.

Do you know what type of leveling you have? HWH or Valid?

It's a valid system

same as mine. I have air only, no jacks.

Try the test like I mentioned in the earlier reply.

Something to also think about (but I don't think it's causing your pump not to cycle on), is monaco plumbed a lot of the coaches wrong. It's an easy fix, but that's another subject.
