In storage, first remove any food. Second put Bounty dryer sheets everywhere. Two or 3 sheets in every bay, one or two sheets in every drawer and cabinet, then stick two in the top tread of every tire. My RV is parked under cover on our property in the edge of the woods. I’ve had no bugs, spiders or mice so I give Bounty all the credit.

I still vote for old fashioned mouse traps with peanut butter--Vince

I purchased a device at Harbor Freight a couple years ago that solved my problem. At the time I had seen signs of a mouse, but was unable to catch with a trap. It plugs to 110, I leave it plugged up, I have not had a problem since.

Rats

I'll take exception to your exception. It says Avoiding/Eliminating not Avoiding eliminating.

But I laughed at your post along with you.

Hint hint....never store in a barn..our biggest mistake ever....there was no food or water and they made there homes everywhere in the motor home....they sure had enough food in the barn as the floor was covered in soybeans etc to eat. Well after we pulled it out in the spring there were no less than 10 hole and poooooooop and p everywhere, what a mistake...thankfully that was our old home and we now park it in our drive and hasn't happened in five years.

We have 3 feral cats (fixed so they don't multiply) in and around our barn. No rodents in the RVs.
