Awning

I have a 2009 32'open road. There is a panel where you can adjust the wind speed were the awning will retract if the wind gets to your setting. How do you shut it off? there are two small lights that are always on. The manual says you can shut it off by using the remote. I do not have a remote. The previous owner said he never had one. It bugs me with the lights always being on. I even wrote a letter to Danny Inmen from the "Roughing It Smoothly magazine, but never heard anything back. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd call the awning manufacturer... Ask about a remote or how to turn off

You should be able to get a remote from the awning manufacturer.

If its a Dometic, you can not turn it off from the remote. I know, I had one, but the remote does work well. I think the best way to deal with those LED's is to put a piece of electrical tape over them. Bet they won't bother you then!!
