The reason you've had 56 views and 1 response is because we need more info.

(IE) Have you checked your batteries?

Are you plugged into shore power or not?

and so on...

Do yourself and us a favor by putting your MH and Toad information into your signature
This will really help here and in all your future posts, so you won't have to type it in each time.
You do this by:
1) Going to the top of this page and click the top left tab named “User CP”
2) Look at the menu on the left and scroll down to “Settings & Options” and click “Edit Signature”
3) In that text box type all the information about your MH, Year, model, length, mileage, any aftermarket extras installed, your toad and so on. You’ll be limited to 3 lines unless you become a IRV2 supporter.
Consider signing up and becoming a IRV2 supporter. It’s a small way to give back to what we all reap here.

The Dometic A&E Oasis Elite door awnings have a design flaw. The plastic enclosure, around the motor, becomes a fishbowl and gets filled with water. The large opening at the top of the motor enclosure faces forward. Lots of rainwater gets in there going down the road. Dirt in the enclosure forms a sediment barrier/seal along the lower seam of the enclosure. Rainwater forced in can not run back out. The plastic motor enclosure actually gets partially filled with water. The awning motor sits in this water and becomes unresponsive to switch activation.

If your awning is all the way retracted, motor removal can appear to be imposssible. Thankfully, RV Geeks had the same problem and made a great video about the issue. It is linked below. All the best.
