Awning Bracket, Can anyone tell me what it does?
Next to each one of my 3 Awnings 1 of these brackets are bolted to the body but do not touch any part of the Awning in any position.
Can anyone tell me what they are for?

Kinda hard to tell but it looks like a old awning bracket someone left on instead of taking off.

Yup, when properly adjusted, if a gust of wind causes the awning to begin to unroll the lever bumps up against the coach and stops further unrolling.

It would probably work better if the lever where on the same side as the bumper stops.
