Awning removing help needed.

I need to remove my two slide out awnings. The small 6ft carefree Colorado was no problem, found Video on YouTube. That large 13 ft totally different story. Could not find video of same style. Finally just took the whole thing off and still can't figure out how to remove material from tube.

The gray cap at the end looks to have rivet that is keeping it from coming off?

Drill the pop rivets out and the end will slide off. Then you can slide the material out.

Assuming you want to remove or replace the awning fabric and if you haven't already done it, go to the Tough Top Awnings website and review their instruction to use a vise grip style - oil filter wrench and widen out an inch of the channel. Absolutely no need to drill out rivets or fight the internal spring. Good luck,

ID:	90229here is my issue now. My awning is a 2003 and does not match any of the videos. I did the small one with no problem. The large one did not have any holes to put a screw driver to keep it from unwinding. I have the awning back on but an not sure how to wind the spring? I guess I will need to have some people hold the tube while I twist the white arms with it loose from the RV and then try and mount.
