Back-up Camera

Hello 'all, I'm new to IRV2 and so far I have really enjoyed the wit and wisdom that I've found in the threads. I would like to power my back-up camera when the engine is turned off. I stop at Flying J and the nicer rest areas so It would be helpful to use my b/u camera as a security camera also. Any help is appreciated. I drive an '03 Dutch Star.

Beachnut,

Your BU Camera is electrically connected through the ignition interlock system. Turn your ignition to the accessory position to activate camera, when needed, or have an electrician rewire for independant operation.

Backup Camera

That's how I do it when I am curious about what might be back there (use the aux. key setting). And, if I don't like what I see, I will squeeze the key fob for my toad and set off my alarm. Unwanted guests more than likely will move.
