I guess I haven't seen any GPS units with an input for a camera.
Have any model numbers?

So the GPS would just be set up for double duty,
or could it do something else?

You can buy a complete wireless backup system for about $89 bucks at Autozone.

Most dash mount GPS units have an auxiliary input for video.

By the way, the Weldex has a somewhat non-standard (at least to me) multi-pin

us that same type connector?

On the other hand, if there is a ground or power problem on one of
my cameras, I might fry a 3rd monitor correct?

You posted a link to silverleaf electronics assuming that is where you bought your stuff call them. Sony uses a different type of wiring for their connector. I know that when I called security backup camera we disccussed that subject and they told me if I wanted to replace the sony camera with theirs I would have to rewire the plug. I am an electronics tech so rewiring plugs is not a big deal but you need to know which wire goes where before you started that. It is why I recommended calling silverleaf and talking to them.

if the monitor has a non standard connector just makes me think something is wired incorrectly. Call silverleaf and see if they have a tech that can help you.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you every once in a while real life gets in the way of my Rv forum discussions and I have to actually do something.
