Virtually the same system I installed for $92 with a few relatively minor differences. Monitor is the same as mine. Camera case is silver metal rather than black metal, claimed to be water/weather proof, and slightly higher resolution (which I think immaterial in a 7" monitor).

A Safari friend installed the system in question and is very satisfied.

What the heck, it's only money.

I just installed a wireless one from www.TadiBrothers.com who have an ad at the top of this page. Wish I would have done it sooner.

I was afraid to try the wireless system because of rumors about poor picture quality due to many different types of interference while driving.
Do you have any concerns with RF interference?

I opted for the wireless for convenience sake in installation. If you are up to it, the hard wired would be better. I had a trip coming up and wanted to install something quick. It works really well 95% of the time, but will lose signal once in a while. The instances when that happened were on the highway, and I think was some interference from my GPS. All in All, I am satisfied with the way it works. Pretty good price for 7" monitor and color, although the color isn't real sharp.

See post #3 in this thread. I posted a link to a write-up on the installation. Lots of pictures.

The system is from an outfit called ecbuys.com. The do some Ebay sales, but direct sales are a little cheaper.

By personal preference I chose a replacement camera for the end-cap molded camera porthole up high. License plate cameras seem suitable for cars, but I wanted that over-view with equal vision on both sides of the rear and over the toad.

The front end of the $92 system:

The slightl blur is from camera shake, not the camera image.

I installed "Rear View Safety" camera system last year. Works great, no problems whatsoever.

Hope this helps answer your question.
I purchased the same system after seeing what great results you had. Mine didn't work... When I hooked up the fuse/filter box it started smoking. They said they would send another box but I'm not going to hold my breath. I think if I had to do it over I would buy one from a USA company so it could be returned if it didn't work.

My experience has been that Hong Kong comapnies will just send a new unit with no returns required. Just send an email describing the problem and ask how they want to handle it.

I doubt that you can find a "U.S." system that isn't made in China. Hong Kong dealers just sell them cheaper and take a little longer with shipping.

My $92 dollar system has exactly the same components on systems from Tadi bros., or Leviathan at half to 1/4 less cost. Your choice. Look at the pictures in my diy pdf file in message #3(?).

Does anyone wish they would have also gotten side view cameras when doing it?
