Backup camera adjustment
I have a new 2015 Fleetwood Terra 35K RV and the backup camera looks straight down. I have a great view of the bumper and the ladder but not much else. My question is can this camera be adjusted and what is required to do so.
Thx
Jim

Check your owner's manual- most factory units have at least three modes you can select either by buttons on the display or from a menu:
1. Standard view
2. Wide-angle view
3. Straight-down (very helpful when hooking up a tow or backing up closely to an object or wall)
... in addition, you may have selections for side-view cameras.

All I have is the instruction manual for the radio unit that the image is displayed to. The only options available is to mirror the view to be like a rear view mirror, no other adjustments. I do not have anything on the camera itself.

If you want the view changed and you can't figure out how to change it you may have to have someone do it for you.

You may have a strictly manual adjustment made on the camera mount itself. Easy to do but in my case it still would not look far enough back,. I removed the housing and re-invented it. My adjusts electrically up and down so I can still look straight down but have the advantage now of using it as a rear view mirror.

You may need to get a ladder and go up and see if there are some small adjusting screws that can be loosened and then move the lens upward. Mine looks down too and I have considered doing this same thing but I think the main idea is to be able to see what is directly behind you when backing up. It is a very wide angle lens there is a lot to see on the screen.

What kind of system, make and model if possible, do you have? Thinking about replacing mine and that would be a really great feature.

I will have to climb up and look the radio is a Jenson which means nothing since the camera can be anything. I will check and let you know.
Thanks everyone for your input

I had to run out to storage and look at the model Fleetwood said they installed on the build sheet that came with it. It states " Voyager VSS7694TILT Cam Mon, and looking online it is a kit, color monitor, side cameras, and a motorized rear tilt camera. This is my first MH, so I thought they all did it. I did not know mine did until I was playing around with the buttons one day, and saw it move.

I placed two washers under each of the bottom brackets that hold it in place. That tilted it up enough to see past the toad.
