backup camera problems

Hello,

My problem is my infa-red is not working on my TadiBrothers 7" backup camera. Can't drive at night without being able to see dinghy.
All help appreciated

Are the infrared LEDs powered by the same 12 v as the camera, or perhaps they switched at dash with tail lights, or use a light sensor to turn on? Which ever way they are powered, it gives a starting point to find out the problem.

To see if the infrared LEDs are working, use the video feature of a phone to observe if the lights are on.
