When you say "dealer" are you talking about the battery dealer or a MH dealer? Regardless, someone needs to correct this at THEIR cost.

I don't have any directly related suggestions but will follow this with interest.

What make & model of RV do you have?

Don, Sandee & GSD Zeus. Guardian GSDs Gunny (7/11/15) & Thor (5/5/15)
2006 DSDP 4320, Spartan MM IFS, 2013 CR-V, Blue Ox Avail, SMI AF1, Samsung 197R Refer.

Four Winds Serrano V31
was an Interstate Battery dealer
he's concerned just want to try and isolate problem before I take it back
give him a shot and then he'll have to deal with RV service center for diagnostic/repair

Most likely "Damage" is a blown fuse.. Easily replaced, or even easier, a tripped circuit breaker or two.

This assumes they were hooked up like this

as you know the proper way is -Bat+-ery+12 volts

By the way folks, As you can see in my example the two six volt units make one battery .. Think of them that way and a whole lot of questions go POOF.
