I wouldn't mind more power but I've been quoted numbers that get awfully close to $10,000 for a Banks kit installed. And since I have a 3060 transmission, I can only add something like 15% or so to the 300hp/950tq of my ISC, so it doesn't seem to make much sense.
Right now I can hold 50mph on a 6% grade (2000rpm) and 43mph (about 1700rpm) on an 8% grade. Arguably, not any faster than my Banks-equipped gas coach (which was also 10 feet shorter), but it will do it all day while we have a normal conversation up front, which we didn't have with the old 460 roaring away between us.
At some point I'll probably look at a better exhaust and an MP-8, but I am hoping that would run a LOT less money.
Steve
