Great information on the Banks Power Pac. We just bought a 1999 Mountain Aire with an F53 V10. Our calculated mileage coming back from FL for 1,500 miles was 5.5mpg but we had some problems with the Mass Air Flow Sensor. We just ordered the Banks Ram Air Intake and will try that first. Can't wait to get it installed. Next year we will try the whole exhaust and chip upgrade kit. I just got back from a 200 mile trip running at 58 but haven't filled up yet to check the mileage.

That is not my conclusion, it's been proven by testing that some magazines did.

We recently purchased a 1996 Georgie Boy with a 460 V8. Of course it had a exhaust leak and broken bolts. Took it out a few times camping before we had the Banks system put on. What a difference. Before it seemed like I was always whipping the horse to make it go. Now I set the cruise and the Banks power does the rest. Money well spent.

Magazines are just as reliable as the internet! Just follow the money! All I can say is I have not had a bad experience with K&N, I am not forcing you or anybody else to use their's or anybody elses product. (For all I know, you may work for Fram, or some other manufacture of paper filters.)
