Basement doors not closing

I have a 2011 Winnebago Adventurer with 2 basement doors that don't want to latch when I close them unless I push real hard near the latch handle. I am afraid that I will eventually dent the doors. Does anybody know of an adjustment somewhere on the door or the door frame catch assembly?

Can't speak for your rig but on ours the door catch goes over a bracket that has slots on it. I just loosen the screws, move the bracket in or out, and tighten the screws.

On my coach I find that if I "lift the latch" then press and release they often close quite easily.

I had that problem and just sprayed silicon lubricant into the latches on each side as I moved them in and out with the handle. They all shut easily with their own weight now.

I did the same but used a dry film spray on my '05 Adventurer. Worked good.

That is probably what I should have done but all I had on hand was wet silicon. The powder for locks would probably work well too. Next time they start giving me trouble latching, I will do a dry type silicon.
