Basic Audio Upgrade Question for RV newbie

I am brand new to the board and a newer coach owner. One of my best-friends and I purchased a 1993 Cobra by Monterey class A coach. We are 22 and the audio system is the first thing we would like to upgrade. We are on a budget but our main objective is to add two speakers to the system for a total of 6 (2 front, 2 bedroom and 2 outdoor).

I was wondering if anybody has tips on products or ideas. Obviously the old four channel deck has to go and my main question is... Is it even possible to add two speakers to a 12v audio receiver? Are there 6 channel receiver specifically designed for motorcoaches?

I appreciate everyone's time and Happy New Year. (GOSEAHAWKS)

Welcome to irv2.
Here is one to start has everything we will also look for another in different price range.
These are a variety of units different price rangers.
In my signature below QT's 1 & 2 item # 1 there is a DVD/ Radio system install to work off your TV which also works off a small inverter.
For speakers out side you can always install a A/B switch if not enough speaker outputs from radio.
Plan what you are going to do and above all else have fun doing it.

I have a pioneer app radio. It has several functions. besides the usual am/fm/ sattelite ( with adapter) it has blue tooth so I can talk on my phone hands free if someone calls while I am driving. It also has a connection for Iphone so you can control the iphone or ipad through the radio. It also connects to android phone and connects them but has to have a special cable for that. The Iphone connector also charges the phone while it is plugged in. I think but I am not 100 per cent sure it has wiring for 6 speakers but if not you can put in a double throw double throw pole switch when you wire it in and wire it so one set of wires go to your inside speakers and the other set the outside speakers then you only have to flip the switch to the speakers you want. I also recommend you take your old radio out first. I took it to best buy when i bought my new radio and they sold me the conversion wires to connect from my old wiring harness to plug into the app radio.
