Bathtub

Has anyone had a custom coach made and installed a walk-in shower instead of the plain shower? Would this even be possible?

Maybe the OP is referring to a bathtub shower combo. My old Pace Arrow had one of those. Had to left leg about 18-20 inches to get in. My Safari has only about a 6 inch lip to step in over.

I believe he is asking about one of the walk in tubs like you see advertised on TV. Would need a lot of water and likely an on demand water heater.

if your are meaning a walk-in SHOWER, then yes, Newmar has several units that have them - they are in the 'wheel chair accessible' floor plans. You may be able to ask your dealer/Newmar to build a coach with this type of shower and replace the wheel chair lift/door with a couch or storage closet instead.
