I have a Georgie Boy Encounter and battery boost does not appear to be working, any idea where the solenoid is located? When connected to park power do both coach and chassis batteries charge? they appear to.

If your coach has something like an echo charger it will charge the house batteries then the chassis batteries. My echo charger went out and I install the Magnum combiner and I also installed a volt meter in a power port that way I can see what my chassis battery reads all the time plus when I hit the boost I can see the volts change. On the solenoid is located, no help on that one.

Lots of coaches use the same solenoid for "Battery Boost" and cross battery bank charging. You most likely have a Battery Control Center (made by Intellitec) located under the hood. The solenoid will be in there. If no BCC, then the solenoid will be located somewhere close by your batteries. Follow the large positive cables.

Battery Boost switches often have to be held down for a couple of minutes to effectively boost low batts. It is similar to using jumper cables.

When plugged in to shore power, check voltage at batts to determine if they are being charged. After being plugged in for awhile, your batts (either house or engine start) are being charged if they show a voltage > 13.2v approx
