I would like to thank everyone for the great responses, I had 2 bad batteries so I changed out all 4 and now everything seems to be running properly. Hope to see some of you in our travels.

I have a 2006 phaeton QSH
the driver's side slides require the engine running.
the passenger side slides should operate without the engine running

Thanks for the update.

Now could you elaborate on whether you have to have the key on, or engine running, or whatever else everybody mentioned?

Thumbs up Battery change out

The ignition switch (my coach) must be on to slide out the driver's side slides but not the passenger side. I'm still learning out new (to us) coach and enjoying it. Again thanks for all the responses and all the best.

Congrats on your new coach, batteries! Just make sure you don't run the new batteries below 12VDC. I have 6 Sams Club batteries marked 2005 in my older Pace.
Before I had 120VAC outlet available I had to FULLY charge & then disconnect the batteries to get thru these harsh New Hampshire weather! Lasted this long!
When ANY wet sell dis-charges they will freeze, expand and crack!
