battery hookup issues

I have a 2012 challenger 37dt. Batteries went bad so i purchased 2 new ones. Extremely difficult to get to coach batteries except from underneath. Only partial view from topside due to configuration. Are these two six volt batteries hooked up in series or parrallel.

So, you didn't take a picture or label your wires?

The answer to your question is SERIES.

Yeap, series. RV systems are 12v, so 6v batteries will always be in series in a motorhome.

battery hook up issues

Due to the configuration of access to the batteries, was unable to take a picture. Best acess is from underneath unit. My question is there are two positive cables and one negative cable. Since the batteries are wired in series, i know where one positive goes, but where does the second one hook to.

I am sorry, but with the picture that JimT posted, why are you asking this question.

If you don't already know this, it is very dangerous for you to attempt this work. These batteries have enough power to arc weld your wrench to the chassis. One wrong move, and you can have a serious injury or RV damage.
Regards,

Dan
