It's quite likely that the charging system in a 2001 does not have an AGM setting at all, but it's not a reason to avoid them. The difference in the profile between flooded and AGM is small and the impact on AGM batteries in typical use is very limited and maybe even insignificant. The AGM charging profile is optimum for long battery life, but there are so many factors affecting batteries in an RV that the difference may not be observable.
