battery switch

Hey everyone, I have a question. I have a 2008 Newmar Canyon Star. I took it out last weekend and haven't been back in it until yesterday. When i got inside and tried to turn on the batteries. Nothing happened. I thought at first the batteries were dead, so i plugged an extension cord into the charger and allowed it to charge for a long time. I tried the battery switch again and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas? or tips for me? Thanks

When you say "turn on the batteries" what battery switch are you referring to? The one by the door?

I would check to see if the battery disconnect switch is off. It should be located somewhere near your house batteries.

Yes the one above the door. I have been looking for another switch somewhere but can find it. I have pulled the battery slide out and didn't see a switch.

Check the voltage at the batteries. I have a Class-C and the disconnect at the door is dead, the solenoid doesn't respond to the switch...

In my Dutch Star my battery shut off is in the center overhead cabinet, where slide out controls and power management controls are.
