Hopefully you will hear from some Actual Beaver owners, but for our 2 cents worth it's a great first coach, a lot of them had the 400hp cat, along with Aqua hot heating and side mounted radiators. Have everything checked by a qualified technician and be aware that some Beaver specific parts may be hard to find.

The 2005 Beaver was actually made by Monaco and parts are still readily available. We just purchased our 2003 in July of this year and absolutely love it. You might check out the Beaver Ambassador Club (BAC) and their forum. The information you can get their is fantastic. You can't go wrong with a Beaver.

If you google both models by year including floor plan name you will find some nice youtube videos on both the Laguna and Pacifica.

We have a 40 foot 2004 Beaver Monterey Laguna.
We love it. Ours has natural cherry wood cabinetry that is flawless. It is difficult to find newer coaches that have the fit and finish of this motorhome. It has served us well for seven years and 67,000 miles. I enjoy driving it.

Just have it checked out before you buy, and if it's okay - Enjoy.

Have you tried Beavercoachsales.com in Bend, OR? They always have Beavers for sale. Good luck and I hope you eventually find THE one that puts a big smile on your face!
