Well, Beaver Motorcoach Corporation is out of business. Safari purchased the remains and then Monaco purchased Safari and in 2010 Navistar purchased Monaco. So, why should they have kept the old records through all that?
Someone that has a rig like, or close to your rig, should be able to come up with something even if it isn't exactly the same. There are aftermarket mufflers that will work although they may be louder than you like.

Go to www.donaldson.com/en/engine/filters/exhaust.htmlindex.htmlindex.html They have a very thorough listing and explain nicely what you are getting performance/noise/longevity, etc.

Aero Turbine Exhaust makes mufflers that fit RV's. They are often sold at Rallies and other RV related functions.

Call Beaver Coach Sales in Bend Oregon. They are where the original Beavers were built. (541)322-2184. They sell other coaches now but thy specialize in Beavers and their parts department is fantastic. You could also join the Beaver Ambassador club, Beaver Ambassador Club. The club is full of Beaver Experts that will be able to help with virtually any problem you have. Good luck.

Magnum was Beaver, Chassis's were built at the same factory as everything else.

if the old one is available, measure it and google truck mufflers. lots of choices
the muffler was not built just for beaver as 95 % of all rv parts are made for other applications. not enough volume to justify the cost

I just replaced the muffler on my Beaver Patriot just before I sold it a couple of months ago.
I had it done at a heavy duty truck repair shop. The muffler in your unit is likely the same style I had with the 3126 Cat. The exhaust comes out of the turbo and drops into the top of the muffler and out the back to the tailpipe.
Under their recommendation, I replaced the muffler to a standard style with front and back inlets. This required an elbow off the turbo into the side of the new muffler rather than top mount.
It also required moving the muffler back about a foot to allow for the side inlet connection. There was room to move the muffler back and I replaced the tail pipe at the same time.
The difference in price from top inlet style to side inlet style muffler was $300.

Really, just go to a muffler shop that is near a truck route. They'll take your old muffler off and match it up to a truck muffler. You'll be fine. Don't over think it. BTW, diesel mufflers are virtually empty inside. Just a baffle or three.

I agree with beaverfever. Get the specs then check with diesel truck dealers in your area. There is nothing unique to the Magnum chassis for these. Your muffler will be more unique to your engine than anything else.
